What Selora provides
Selora is a free matching and information service. We compare the details you give us with the published criteria of clinical research studies and tell you when a study may suit you. We do not run studies, provide medical care, give medical advice, or decide whether anyone may join a study. Every study is run by its own research team, which makes that decision and is responsible for the study.
A match from us is an invitation to ask about a study. It is not a diagnosis, a referral, a recommendation of a treatment, or a promise that you will be accepted.
Health information on this site
Our guides and area pages describe research in general terms. They are not a substitute for advice from a doctor who knows your health. Always talk to a qualified health professional before changing a medicine or making a decision about your care.
Your sign-up
When you sign up you confirm that the details you give are your own and are accurate, and that you are 18 or older. Please keep them up to date by replying to any of our emails. You can ask us to close your sign-up at any time.
Text messages
If you tick the text message box on our sign-up form, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Selora Research Studies, which may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service, or of taking part in any study. Message frequency varies, and you should expect no more than 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel at any time; you will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Links to other sites
We link to outside sites such as ClinicalTrials.gov because they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they publish or how they treat your information.
Limits of our responsibility
We work to keep the site accurate, but studies open, change and close without notice, and we cannot guarantee that information about any study is complete or current. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from your decision to take part, or not to take part, in a study.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
